Today I woke up wondering, “WHAT TO Do!”
I checked my E-mail as usual and saw that I had an
E-mail from PHS. Yes that’s right the Philadelphia Horticultural Society informing that they will be having the Philadelphia Flower Show outdoors for the first time since there has ever been a flower show. I was so excited. I wanted to attend for more than just a day. With that in mind I decided to purchase two tickets so that I would be sure to enjoy just about everything that the show had to offer. As always in the past many years PFS {Philadelphia Flower Show} has always aimed to please. With their wonderful displays of flowers inside the Convention Center made the center look great. Not that it didn’t already captivate with its construction made to host the Philadelphia Car Show, Comic Con, a variety of Seminars and many other events.

The Convention Center has held PFS for many years and each time when I have logged onto PHS’s websites there are not many complaints that I have read that voiced negative feedback. I must say it again the Philadelphia Flower Show is a pleasure to attend.

When I arrived at the outdoors extravaganza I was truly amazed at how the layout was developed. PHS was given the opportunity to be hosted by FDR National Park. The Franklin D. {D stands for Delano} Roosevelt Park is a national monumental historical place where people from all over can enjoy a picnic, play a few games of basketball, play a tournament of tennis and even bring the children to swing on a swing or slide down a sliding-board. One huge park where PFS occupied a subsection, but with the many sights to see and the layout someone would think the Philadelphia Flower Show took up more space then explained.

I obtained a map that guided me through the show. PHS had PFS subsectioned into four aspects. One aspect was where an individual could shop, a second was where they held their famous flowers show competitions, the third was where seating was for eating, relaxing and making small talk with someone you may have met while maneuvering the show and the fourth aspect of the show was where one could view that special greenery that only PFS can develop.

I managed to contain my excitement as I walked the show grounds and took so many pictures that the photo storage on my cell phone became full. I partook in some libations and grabbed a bite to eat {more than once.} I made a few purchases and when It was all over for my visits as well as the show which ended on the 13th of June 2021, I made a few slide shows, videos and collages of my visits events/agenda and posted my much gratifying approval on PHS’s social media sites.

If you were unable to attend this year’s Philadelphia Flower Show Outdoor Extravaganza I recommend that the family purchase tickets for the next year’s show and from what I’ve read, heard as well as ear-hustled to {which means ease dropped in on} people would love to have it be showcased outdoors once again. If I were asked the question of whether PFS should be held outdoors from Philadelphia’s Convention Center and hosted again by the Franklin Delano Roosevelt Park I would most defiantly agree with the people - so therefore, “THE PEOPLE HAVE SPOKEN!”

The following links are for your viewing pleasure. Do enjoy and hopefully I will see you and you will see me at the 2022 Philadelphia Flower Show.
